The Second HEROES EU Policy Dialogue will take place on Thursday 26th March 2026 in Brussels as a hybrid event titled "What comes next? Strengthening health workforce data for future-ready systems in Europe"

We are pleased to invite you to the second EU HEROES Policy Dialogue, bringing together policymakers, experts, and stakeholders to discuss how to strengthen health workforce data and intelligence across Europe.

This policy-focused event will explore practical solutions to key challenges affecting the quality, availability, and use of health workforce data. Discussions will examine how improved planning, better data integration, and stronger coordination can contribute to building sustainable and resilient health systems.

A key pillar of the event will be showcasing the achievements of the HEROES project, highlighting how its work has advanced health workforce data and policy across Europe. Participants will also reflect on the feasibility of establishing a unified European Health Professionals' Registry and its potential links with the European Health Data Space. The conversation will take place in the broader context of evolving workforce needs, digital transformation, and emerging models of care.
